Thai One On In Chelsea

Regional Thai

 On my many strolls through Chelsea, I often pass a corner restaurant with an exotic interior and think to myself that I should check it out. Well on a recent weekday, I decided to try it for lunch.

Regional Thai is located on 7th Ave in the heart of Chelsea. The blackboard out front boasts their amazing lunch specials and thought I would try one out. The value lunch menu offers rice dishes, pad thais and boxes ranging from $7.95 – $11.95. Those all looked so good but with the help of my waiter, decided on the rice with chicken in spicy thai sauce.

My waiter is a genious. This dish consisted of jasmine rice with white meat chicken in a delicous rich and spicy sauce. I savored every bite. With a cup of jasmine green tea, I was in Thai heaven.

I won’t be passing it by anymore…I’ll be going in and so should you.
