FALL VEGGIE BURGER FUNDRAISER FOR LOWER EASTSIDE GIRLS CLUB
If you stop by 61Local for Veggie Burger Night on Thursday, September 13th, to enjoy a handcrafted veggie burger made by veggie burger pro Lukas Volger, you can help support the Lower Eastside Girls Club
The Lower Eastside Girls Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a place where girls, ages 8-23, can grow, learn, have fun, and develop confidence in themselves and their ability to make a difference it the world.
Veggie Burger Options will include Thai Carrot Burgers; Tofu Burgers with Chard; and Kimchi Burgers with Black Soybeans. They’ll be $12 each and include a side salad, featuring produce donated by the Local Roots CSA. (Burger varieties are subject to change.) Since this is a fundraiser, also expect a raffle with fun food- and health-related prizes!
Lukas Volger is the author of Veggie Burgers Every Which Way and Vegetarian Entrees that Won’t Leave You Hungry, and a part-time grill master at 61Local. So you now the burgers will be A M A Z I N G!!!
