BRICKLANE CURRY FESTIVAL MAY 8TH – 15TH

Brick Lane Curry Festival returns from the 8th – 15th of May 2011 and will accumulate in a music festival and street party. London’s most eagerly anticipated celebration of food and culture had its humble beginnings at the Brick Lane Festival in 1996 where the popularity of the curry component of the festival became an event in it’s own right.

The Brick Lane Curry Festival is a gastronomic extravaganza in London’s Brick Lane, celebrating the best in curry culture. Visitors have the chance to sample some of the most tantalising cuisine from Bangladesh, India and Pakistan.

Directions: By Tube: to Liverpool Street (Central line) or Aldgate East (District & Hammersmith & City line).
On Foot: from Broadgate, walk across Spitalfields Market, past Christchurch and down Hanbury Street.
