Bklyn Loves Japan Benefit

Bell House hosts:

BKLYN LOVES JAPAN

Our hearts have been hurting thinking about this tragedy. A two-part benefit to raise funds to help the disaster relief effort in Japan. 100% of the ticket sales and silent auction sales will benefit GlobalGiving.org, a charity that is currently disbursing funds to organizations providing relief and emergency services to victims of the earthquake and tsunami. The funds will directly help survivors and victims with recovery efforts.

Thanks to everyone who helped make Night One on April 5th a huge success — raising nearly $9,000. Let’s double that number for Night Two on April 15th!

They’ve joined forces with other local Brooklyn businesses to help raise more money at both events through a silent auction, including hundreds of dollars worth of gift certificates from Union Hall, Bell House, Floyd, Maxwell’s, Prime Meats, Fonda, Insound, Pongo Power and Three Kings Tattoo. Also contributing items to the silent auction are Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen (a pair of tickets to see the show), Sub Pop Records packages, autographed Nada Surf and Chromeo posters, autographed SNL script, Comedy Central Records gift bag, Tell Your Friends! The Concert Film poster autographed by entire cast, Unemployed Philosophers’ Guild gift package, autographed Lewis Black merchandise, autographed Mumford & Sons posters, autographed Two Door Cinema Club CDs and much more! (Did we mention an autographed Jonas Bros card?)

Please join them for two nights of wonderful music and comedy at the Bell House in Brooklyn!

About The Author

A fierce love of food and twin careers in real estate and fashion taught Rose to look for the hottest item and the hottest deal. Perfect attributes for creating Cheapeatsinc.com. When friends and clients needed a great meal at a great price, she could rattle off restaurant names the way a sports nut ticks off batting averages—but with a lot more home runs. Now it’s all at Cheapeats, where you’ll find “Happiness, $25 and under.”
