5th Annual GO GO CURRY Eating Championship has began!!

GO GO CURRY Eating Championship   challenge consists of passing a qualifying time trial in participating countries before advancing to the Finals round to be held in New York. For the preliminary rounds, participants  compete their speed of finishing 2 walk-sized plates (small) of original curry without cabbage. Top 4 from the qualifying round and one Japanese champion coming from Japan will move to the final round and compete quantity eating within 5 min 55 seconds.

Runners-up will receive $55 curry gift certificate and a $200 gift card while the grand prize winner receives $55 curry gift certificate and a $500 gift card. Also, if the winner is among from US contestants, he or she will be automatically seeded in the final round for “Go! Go! Curry! Eating Championship 2014 (GGCEC 2014)” held in Japan. Free accommodation and a round-trip airline ticket between JFK International Airport and Narita International Airport will be provided.

Qualifying Round

Qualifying rounds being held at 4 GO! GO! CURRY! locations in New York City

Date & Time 5/25・5/30・6/5・6/10・6/15 from 6pm to 8pm

Participation fee: $20
How to apply: Go to one of the GO!GO!CURRY! Location on the qualifying dates & time an ask for the application and register.

Final Round

The final round will be held at JaNet Hall in New York City.

Date & Time: Sat 7/6/2013 at 5pm (Pre-show 4pm)
