What’s Happening Presidents Day Weekend?

This President’s Day weekend, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Times Square is offering guests a “taste of history” as master cheese carver Sarah Kaufmann recreates “Mount Rushmore” into “Mount Ripley’s” with 160 pounds of cheddar cheese during a two-day cheese-sculpting demonstration on February 15 and 16, 2013.

Putting an out-of-the-ordinary “Ripley’s” twist on Mount Rushmore, “The Cheese Lady,” Sarah Kaufmann will craft a six foot long wacky replica of the historic national monument of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.

When: Friday, February 15, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm (media welcome all day)
Saturday, February 16, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Completion of cheese carving/photo opportunities – 2-2:30 pm

Where: Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Times Square Odditorium
234 West 42nd Street (Between 7th and 8th Ave)

Happiness, $25 and under.
