One of the perks of Cheapeats, is having access to a wealth of restuarants and amazing deals. A recent contest win, courtesy of Bite Hunter, gave me some valuable dining coupons. One that I was so excited to try was Oficina Latina.

Oficina Latina is a Latin Hot Spot in Noho. It’s loft like setting with exposed brick walls and wooden tables, make it rustic and warm. I chose to grab a seat at the bar and people watch as they stroll by.

It was a warm day, so I didn’t want to eat anything heavy. Then something caught my eye. Salmon A La Parilla. “I’ll have that with a Jumex Guava please?”

Salmon A La Parilla is grilled wild Salmon with an avocado salad, onions, mild hot peppers, cilantro, lime juice and olive oil and accompanied by rice and tostones. One word…DELICIOSO. The salmon was moist and tender and with the crunch of the onions, creaminess of the avocados and the tang of the lime juice…it’s the perfect summer meal.

They serve brunch everyday as well as lunch and dinner. But at night, it when this place heats up. Latin music in the background and caipirinhas flowing…things start heating up. 🙂
