The Best Cupcake You’ll Ever Eat

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE Cupcakes. They’re the perfect dessert. The right size to indulge and not feel guilty and the ratio of frosting to cake, is perfection. These days it seems everyone is selling cupcakes. We found one that is wholesome and delicious.

Jessy Cupcake Co was started by Jessy Blanchard out of necessity. She was trying to eat clean and healthy, while satisfying her Husband’s cupcake addiction. Sound familiar? She chucked the Duncan Hines box out the window and started making cupcakes by scratch, using natural ingredients.

Without any formal training, she played around in the kitchen and would bring her creations to BBQ’s, Birthday Parties and dinner parties. Soon she received requests from friends and family, to create and decorate her cupcakes for events. Then the lightbulb went off. Why not turn my passion into a business? And JESSY CUPCAKE CO was born.

I met Jessy at an event at Wix Lounge and it was love at first bite. She briefly told me her story and immediately wanted to run a feature on Cheapeats.

What’s unique about her cupcakes are the flavors and ingredients. She offers funky flavors, as well as her staples. To name just a few:

  • Madagascar Vanilla
  • Sweet Potato (a personal favorite)
  • Lemon Chiffon
  • Hazelnut
  • Chocolate and Peanut Butter
  • Green Tea
  • Red Velvet
  • Chocolate

She uses a cream cheese based frosting, not butter cream. And she even sneaks veggies in her desserts. May I have a Green Pea cupcake please?

Jessy doesn’t have a brick and mortar shop. She caters specials orders and online orders ONLY. Planning a Birthday, Wedding, Baby Shower or Bridal Shower? CALL JESSY. Restaurants, cafes and coffee houses that are looking for tasty treats to serve your customers, without having to bake them yourself?….CALL JESSY.

Congratulations Jessy for creating these delicious treats and making this cupcakeaholic…VERY HAPPY.
