Taste of Los AngelesThe Taste of the World Festival is an amazing event that affords attendees the opportunity to travel the world in a single day via Los Angeles.

With the world’s continents in mind, the festival includes representation from consulates, restaurants, travel agencies, airlines, and musical performers.  It also features strolling entertainers, clowns, face painting, dancing, cooking, and art exhibitions. Furthermore, they are featuring a two day talent search for the “Next Superstar,” the “Next Celebrity Chef,” “The Next Stand up Comic” and an exciting, dramatic exhibition and competition for the next “Dancing with the Celebrity Stars” winner.

After going through the event customs, receiving your World Passport, you will be instructed to exchange your US dollars for our official currency Chevere’s. One Chevere equals one USD. Event travelers can also experience the festivals different pavilions to find the theme that rings true to your  heart.

You’ll find a Green World Pavilion, a Technology Pavilion, a World Travel Pavilion, a Healthy World Pavilion, a Children’s World Pavilion and a pavilion dedicated to uniting the World through Food-Wine-Music-Dance.

The 2011 festival will also promote green practices by offering a “Green Team” and many recycling bins throughout the festival as well and several announcements recycling reminders from the main stage.

And for the Cheapeaters…..$1 – $7 nibbles.
