The Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady, celebrating its 75th Anniversary in 2011,
will hold its inaugural A Taste of the Capital Region event
benefiting youth development programs for more than 3,000 school age children at
thirteen sites in Schenectady County.  Presented by The Daily Gazette and
sponsored by our Elite Sponsor General Electric and Benefactor Sponsors Trustco
Bank, Rotary International and O’Connell & Aronowitz, A Taste of the
Capital Region will be held at the Club’s Rotterdam Unit located at 721
Curry Road on Monday, June 13th, 2011 from 6pm to 8pm.

This event will feature more than 40 of the regions finest chefs
(professional & amateur) preparing their favorite dishes.
A Taste of the Capital Region is a relaxed
evening of great food and entertainment. With a wide array of appetizers,
entrees and desserts, this event has something for everyone!

Tickets for the event are $50* and include complimentary
valet parking, admission to the event and a cookbook containing recipes for all
of the evening’s delicious entrees, appetizers and desserts.
