Homestyle Italian

Those  that live or work in Gramercy know there’s only one place to go to get homestyle Italian that won’t break the bank. Where is that? Frank’s Trattoria.

Frank’s is part pizzeria part trattoria. The front is your typical pizzeria banging out pies or pizza by the slice. But behind the glass doors, is the land of Oz. The sit down restaurant serves up favorites such as Shrimp Francese, Veal Saltibocca and Spaghetti Bolognese.

Chat with any of the locals and they’ll tell you they either dine or order in from there at least 2-3x a week. The food is always fresh, spot on and the portions are large. Perfect for the leftover the next day.

Home is where the heart is. I think it’s also food and Frank’s is like going home.
