Pecan Pie Cheesecake….OH MY

After a long day walking around the Fancy Food Show in New York City, my energy level was fading. What would make me happy? Something sweet. Strolling down one of the never ending aisles I saw a man handing out samples of cheesecake. Praise the lord. “Which one should I try?” “Pecan Pie Cheesecake.” Ding, Ding, Ding….we have a winner!!

Baker Street is a company based in Toronto that was started in 1978 by the Director of Sales’ Mom and Aunt. They were known for their delicious and creative cheesecakes for years and decided to go into business. I listened to Jason telling me how tough it was for these 2 ladies going up against a male dominated industry. They had no prior food or business experience, just a great product and passion. Needless to say they hit many bumps in the road but success is a journey, not a destination.

Through hard work and persistance, they’ve withstood the test of time and is now a large family owned and operated business for 22years. My heart just warmed up listening to this sweet story. Bravo ladies!!!!

How does the cheesecake taste? Imagine a rich and creamy filling on top of a crunchy, nutty crust. You can taste the fresh vanilla, sugar, butter and cream cheese but mostly the love. Check out these flavors:

Pecan Pie Cheesecake

Apple Cobbler Cheesecake

White Chocolate

They also make cakes, pies, tortes and their world famous carrot cake. They do ship and come in a fashionable blue box with brown bow. So the next time you need to cheer a friend up, need a house warming gift or just want to indulge in a slice of heaven…..send or order a tasty treat from Baker Street.

Love dessert, and eat it too!
