Paella Party at Tio Pepe

With the belt tightening going on these days, traveling abroad may be challenging.  If you can’t afford a plane ticket, then travel through food.  Thanks to Tio Pepe, you can with their $15.95 paella menu.

The classic Paella Valenciana consisting of chicken, shellfish and chorizo

Paella Marinera containing  the fruits of the sea

                                                Paella Camarones with sweet shrimp

Arroz Con Pollo the classic chicken and rice dish

Paella Nega made with calamari and squid ink

These dishes bring back memories of my travels through  Spain.  The beach.  The food.  The wine.  The food. The clubs…..and yes the food.  How I wish I was there now.  Oh well, with these prices I can indulge in some Sangria and pretend I’m still there.

                                                       Happiness, $25 and under.

Tio also makes a mean garlic shrimp dish. They have been around for so long and this is one dish they are perfect at….but I forgot how much it cost. I’m sure it is less than $20,
