Margaritas for Martha?
Even in the tony town of East Hampton, the average Joe can hang with Martha Stewart. How you say? Just visit the Blue Parrot. This Tex Mex mainstay has recently reopened since it’s sad demise in 2006. It was the local joint where the haves and have not so much, could chill with a margarita while munching on chips and salsa. Thanks to Ron Perelman, Jon Bon Jovi, Renee Zellweger and restaurateur Andrew Chapman for bringing this bird back to it’s perch and keeping it real.
You can relax with a $9 Margaritas while feasting on some tasty dishes ranging $6 to $25. No reservations accepted and only 55 seats. Expect to wait but who cares…the people watching alone will be better than TV. Maybe we’ll spot Real Wives of New York hanging with the peeps.
Just another testament that you too can be “Cheap and Chic”.
